We're a locally owned, family-owned artisan and discount food and beverage shop with locations in Downtown Asheville, Sweeten Creek and Black Mountain. In a nutshell, we're a local family who loves all things food! We love people, we love to cater and we love sharing amazing savings with you.

The Hopey & Co. Dream
We began with a dream in 2004. How do we compete with larger chain stores and also give folks the best possible savings around town? We open our own of course!
From the good old days out at Dreamland Flea Market, to the warehouse on Sweeten Creek Road, all the locals know about this family built grocery market. Some remember BarganMax, and some even remember Amazing Savings, but few know that it’s been the same family the whole time.
The idea of discount groceries had been around before Hopey & Co came on the scene, but we revolutionized the concept by being the first in the Asheville area to offer organic discounted groceries. Over the years we grew as we added Black Mountain, and the Asheville locations and a local wholesale warehouse. The selection grew to include fresh produce from the farmers market, milk from local farmers, an in house butcher in Black Mountain.
